Hey everyone, I'm really struggling with my computer. I'm a student and I don't know what caused the failure. A few months ago, I started experiencing strange freezes. My computer would just stop working suddenly, without any warning like a blue screen. It never showed up in error messages, just froze completely. There was one time the GPU fan increased, then it tried stress testing to see if something was wrong, but no errors appeared. After that, I began seeing blue and black screens on Windows. I ran various tests on the parts to identify the issue, including burn-in tests, but nothing resolved the problem. I cleaned my drives, checked my thermal paste, opened and cleaned the GPU, and even cleaned my RAM sticks, yet it kept happening. Now I'm running out of time—I need this fixed quickly because I rely on it for studying and programming. My PC is an Intel i7 10700K with an RTX 2070, paired with a G.Skill Trident 3000MHz 320GB SSD, a Western Digital Black M.2 NVMe drive, and a Seagate HDD. After switching to my hard drive, the issues persisted, and I even got a black screen when I wasn’t using the computer at all. I’ve tried everything possible, but nothing seems to work. Please help me out—I’m really desperate!
All indications point to a driver problem. A fresh image should fix it. If unavailable, consider restoring from a stable state. Check Device Manager for any malfunctioning devices. Another idea: boot into safe mode to verify stability. Safe mode relies on simpler drivers; persistent issues may suggest a deeper driver conflict.
I fixed it yesterday morning, but an hour later the black screen appeared, and the Device Manager didn’t display any issues.
Tell me your CPU and GPU temperatures. Are they running hot? Did you inspect your RAM?
