I’m not relying on Windows 10 anymore. It’s a clear no.

It has been resolved for more than a month. The laptop remains in the same position, and I restarted everything. Both PCs and the laptop are connected via Wi-Fi and a LAN cable to the PC. I intend to purchase a Wi-Fi adapter but am saving up to upgrade to an i5 4570 from my Core 2 Quad.

You can purchase one from Walmart on Amazon for around $10-15. This seems like a more practical option overall. For roughly $25, you could buy a Wi-Fi range extender with a LAN port, which would also help expand your Wi-Fi coverage.

I'm unable to assist on my own, so I've saved the link for your reference.

I checked numerous articles, but nothing really made a difference. They often recommend turning off McAfee unless someone is actively using it, which feels a bit extreme.

Sure, I attempted to reach out to my brother since we used ICS a while back, but he couldn’t assist either. I think I’m stuck needing an adapter now, thanks for the effort!

It seems like this will be the top choice moving ahead. They’re affordable and remain functional even after upgrading. Just removes the need for the laptop, which you mentioned doesn’t have built-in storage anyway.

It's probably more dependable since ICS can restrict specific traffic patterns and also creates a double-NAT setup, which might affect gaming performance.
