I've experienced issues with this mysterious gadget since installing a new motherboard last week. It disconnects and reconnects when logging in from the lock screen or switching audio inputs. The biggest concern is it prevents my PC from entering sleep mode. When it tries to sleep, it immediately wakes up because a "device" reconnects. Here are its key details:

I've experienced similar issues before. It seems Invidia is contacting my machine's GeForce Experience to verify the latest updates, and this is happening in a similar way. I unplugged my Wi-Fi adapter before bedtime, which resolved the problem.
