I've been playing this game a lot. After the recent update fixing the foliage, my average dropped to around 50fps. Previously, I was getting 70-100fps. Any tips on why that happened? Your setup includes GTX 960, 16GB RAM, and an i5 4690K at 4.3GHz.
it isn't fully optimized yet. the frame rate will be slow for some time. my 780 struggles to maintain 1080p at low settings. (i also have two monitors on, and i believe the main problems are network and memory usage.)
I share the same view as the person above. Unless you're experiencing unusually slow frame rates in many games, I wouldn't worry much. The game is still in alpha and is recognized for its poor optimization. I recall the streamers summit and Shroud mentioning low frame rates, and they have some excellent components.
It looks like the experience varies a lot. Some users have no problems, while others face performance issues.
