Is there anyone familiar with AC: Unity who can confirm its current status? I'm assuming the recent launch problems are resolved. Also, what performance would it have on your system—i7 4790k, 16GB RAM, two R9 280X in Crossfire? Please let me know if you've played it recently.

You should handle medium to high performance levels after upgrading to an OC. A friend with an i7 4770K and GTX970 is still struggling to run at full capacity.

Will work just fine, try using FXAA for smoother performance. The other filters seem to hurt quality, so switching should help things run better. Don’t let anyone criticize the game without trying it first—most complaints come from people who haven’t played it. Just enjoy the smooth experience with FXAA!

I felt the same way too. (No need to back up Ubisoft; it’s not their fault.)

I don't back them up, yet folks often share misleading details, just wanted to share these images and assure you'll face no issues. Photos captured while working with the rig on my signature.

I own two GTX 970 G1 cards in SLI mode. With a 4K display, the game feels more stable after all updates, though it remains quite rough. When I enable textures and high+ TXAA settings, performance stays around 40-50 FPS without any stuttering.

ACU functions well and remains stable during Co-op tasks. The main issue is intermittent loss of connection with the Unity companion app, which resolves quickly.

It works well for me, using all the settings and FXAA enabled (i7-4790k @ 4.4GHz, GTX970). I’m not sure exactly what FPS I’m getting, but I’m really enjoying it.

As long as people find it enjoyable, it will work well.

5GHz processor, 8GB memory, stable performance at 970 FPS, win 8.1 with newest firmware. Rendered in 1440p, all settings optimized for shadows and FXAA. Achieved around 50fps now. Previously ran at 30fps before; with a 7950 it hit 20fps. Playing again, everything feels balanced. HUD elements turned off for smoother experience. NPCs still have some issues, but overall the gameplay is noticeably better than when it launched.
