Unique title for your Minecraft server
I managed to get it working. First: installing the necessary Windows 7 update for api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll. Then I was puzzled about the missing eula.txt file. I realized it needed to be placed outside the root C directory. Next, I created a 100GB D partition. Finally, I agreed to the EULA and it started functioning properly. It now supports up to 20 users with 6GB RAM. For naming, you can choose a different name than "Minecraft server" if you'd like.
Avoid using version 7 and switch to version 10 if available. Where do you notice this Minecraft name? Did you review the configuration files?
I can't place 10 there. It shows the boot image briefly before switching to a blinking underscore. I set it up as an MBR on my tower, but I don’t want it to automatically switch to x name, x description, and x image.
I attempted several methods but faced issues. Here’s what happened: 1. Created a bootable installer on a USB drive using Rufus with MBR "Phenom II". 2. Connected it, set as primary boot in BIOS, and rebooted. 3. Started from the drive, then saw a brief Windows 10 image before a flashing underscore. This differs from a GPT drive but lacks a clear split-second flash. Should I try running the installer inside Windows 7?
Consider attempting the upgrade, but also try a different USB drive. I've noticed some systems react poorly to certain USB devices.
Consider using the media creation tool for the USB, but also test another USB drive.
