It seems there are issues with power supply stability. Sometimes power is interrupted or fails completely. I need to keep pressing the power button for an extended period to activate it.

so most likely there is a leakage on motherboard ad most likely psu is ok, but because motherboard is taking too much power from psu it can lower psu life significantly while lowering useful usage of motherboard itself, please send motherboard and psu, both for checkup under guaranty if they have, to see if motherboard has made any damage on psu and to motherboard get fixed dont let it be like that this is more serioes than what i thought at first, most likely there is a shorted part with higher resistance than usual on the motherboard and it is high enough to not make the system crash but low enough to have effect on workig condition, probably if you try to do heavy loads it could even goes so far psu over current protection get triggered, first i thought this could be just a leaky cap but now because of the sound psu was making and you mentioned it can be more serrios than what i thought first and motherboard is taking too much power from psu you can first clean everything even use alcohol to clean motherboard and use air preseare to clean the motherboard more to make sure there isnt any accidentally short on cpu pins or ram pins to see if the problem is fixed or not and after thant send motherboard and psu to a shop for fixing the motherboard and checking psu but if you clean the motherboard it is posible you clean the resedue of the broken part from the board and make the job so much harder for the shop even so hard they couldnt find the problem but cleanig is the last attemp for a diy i suggest but it can cause some issue on finding the problem by shop

Both the PSU and MMO have expired warranties. I don’t have many nearby repair shops either, so replacing the MMO or PSU seems like the best choice. Still, I need to identify what’s causing the issue. The sound from the PSU is very faint—it barely comes through when I connect it to power.

I’m pretty certain the issue lies with the motherboard, but I haven’t looked at or touched this system in any way. I don’t recall seeing your PSU or motherboard model anywhere else. Based on my experience and limited knowledge of electronics, I’d suggest not replacing anything just yet. Both components seem to be working properly, so changing them wouldn’t be necessary. You probably don’t need a specialist technician—any general repair shop should be able to help. For extra caution, you could try using a phone app that magnifies the camera view; hold your phone horizontally with a monopod and place the motherboard underneath. Look closely for any signs of damage, discoloration, or burnt components. If you notice anything unusual, let me know what you find.

I don’t have the old unit anymore; I sold it along with the CPU and memory. I’ll contact one of my friends for testing. Unfortunately, I’m sick now, so that won’t happen. You’re right about it being a motherboard issue, but I haven’t checked the board myself yet.
