Hey everyone, I've noticed a strange problem where my PC occasionally drops internet connection for a few seconds and then reconnects. Here are the signs I've seen but haven't figured out yet:

1. YouTube videos pause at the buffer point.
2. Discord, Skype, and games aren't affected—my Chrome session works just fine.
3. Games struggle with lobby connections until it's fixed.
4. Switching networks or reconnecting fixes the issue.
5. Chrome shows a DNS connection error when refreshing during a lost connection.
6. Using a different Wi-Fi card doesn't help; distance from the router is the problem.
7. I reset Windows 10 via Media Creation Tool, but the issue still exists.

This has been really frustrating, and no one else in the house has the same problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Additionally, I can't send a ping to my router during the disconnection, yet I manage to run arp -a and view all connected devices on my network.

Update your drivers, review port restrictions or antimalware tools, and confirm the health of Windows. Sometimes Windows handles things better than you think... In truth, I've experienced issues with poor Windows installations.
