I mistakenly removed all apps during the installation rush. Now I lack a desktop, network manager, Wi-Fi driver, internet access, and other optional programs. Still, my personal files remain safe. What’s the quickest way to bring Ubuntu back to normal while keeping my data intact? No need to worry about manually installed tools like Chrome or VS Code. Thanks!

Do you have distinct sections for the root and home directories? It’s possible to reinstall Ubuntu without losing your files by using the "Upgrade" feature. I suggest backing up your information with a live setup on a USB drive stored elsewhere.
