I need to remove the .NET Framework from my system, but I can't locate it anywhere. When I attempted to install the latest version, it informed me I already had it installed.

You should remove it because it may cause issues or conflicts with other software.

Navigate to "Programs and Features," select the sidebar "Turn Windows features on or off," and deselect all .NET-related options. After completing, press OK and reboot your computer. Be aware that certain programs and the driver control panel may stop functioning since they rely on .NET.
