I started my PC to test X-Plane 11 and it got removed, so I rely on this flight sim most often. The game directory remains, but Steam seems to require reinstalling it each time.

Press the install button. It will perform certain actions before confirming installation. I experienced the same issue in GTA V, though. Make sure you select the same installation location and avoid using a different drive.

I pressed it and it just reinstalled again, though I verified the file location.

Temporarily relocate the directory. Allow it to install via Steam for five minutes, then close the application. Replace the files with the moved folder. Restart Steam and check the game files. Wait briefly, then attempt to launch the game.
