Great job, that’s three above the average. My argument remains valid if someone seeks guidance—they shouldn’t feel discouraged or lack confidence when dealing with something outside their primary language. For instance, on a Spanish forum, mistreatment in your native language would be unacceptable. What I’m saying is there’s no point at all. On a related note: OP should consider Ubuntu Lightweight or similar lightweight versions, but anyone insisting Windows is lighter is mistaken. In fact, Windows tends to consume more resources compared to Ubuntu. I set up Lubuntu on my sister’s older Dell laptop, which was unhappy with the automatic upgrade. It quickly returned to being fast, responsive, and suitable for light office work or web browsing—perfect for her gaming PC setup.

You're questioning whether Windows 10's core is truly more efficient than Ubuntu. It's worth noting that Windows 8 Core was designed for very basic hardware, and much of the additional features can consume system resources.

The reduced edition of Windows 8 for tablets could be available. The complete versions of Windows 8 and 10 are still out there. For more details, check the official sources.

You meant the core Windows version. Of course, the operating system with ten times more features runs slower.

You won't receive a complete desktop setup then. Installing Windows 10 (even a fresh one) feels much more demanding compared to Linux. http://www.itpro.co.uk/operating-systems...4/page/0/2 This note: Ubuntu offers a full desktop experience, while Windows 10 core is tailored for IoT projects and differs from a standard Windows desktop system, unlike Ubuntu which provides a robust interface similar to Linux but with simpler usability.
