Unexpected bursts of pings appear suddenly and persistently
Hello, I have an MSI H110M Pro VD Plus motherboard with an Asus PCE-N15 WiFi card installed. Everything functioned smoothly without any problems (consistent 25ms during online games). Then I noticed sudden ping spikes—command prompts showed pings jumping from 14ms to over 200-300 every few seconds. This only occurs on my PC, but another PC and a laptop on the same network don’t experience this issue, even though they’re connected via Ethernet. No other devices are plugged in yet. I tried updating or reinstalling drivers for the card, but it didn’t fix the problem. Eventually, I replaced the WiFi card with an Asus PCE-AC56 and still faced the same intermittent ping issues. I’m wondering if a Windows reinstall is necessary or if the problem lies with the motherboard slot itself. Thanks for your help!
