Unexpected BSOD after stable system startup
Hey everyone, in April I upgraded my rig to an Asus Prime Z690-A with a 12900k, DDR5 5200, EVGA 360 AIO and a 1000W PSU. I ran some tests using Cinebench R23 at normal speeds and achieved top scores around 25k for multi-core. After trying the AI OC, it became stable with a -0.065 core offset and a Cinebench score of 28,400. I've been playing games non-stop for two months now and everything's running smoothly. During testing, I hit 90°C on Cinebench, but gaming stayed much cooler. Recently, I started seeing a BSOD right after launching Windows. I spent some time resetting the BIOS, which didn't cause another crash, though it showed some cool stats. In stock tests, Cinebench scored 22k with power limits applied, and my CPU temps reached 100°C. After turning on AI OC again, I ran a few more tests and got under 23k—still unsure what triggered the throttling. My PSU might be the issue, but I was also thinking about the AIO cooler. Thanks for your help!
