Since setting up my new SSD and Windows 11, I frequently receive this boot notification. It tells me Microsoft Defender is scanning my device, which seems normal. However, it also mentions another antivirus program for active protection. Interestingly, I don’t use that one myself, but could Microsoft’s PC Manager be causing this? It’s still an open beta, so such behavior is expected. I appreciate the warning as it reduces my RAM usage, but I’d prefer to remove it if this annoyance disappears. I’m unsure what’s triggering it.
