Hey everyone. Someone gave me a front base panel in an unknown state. It seems like brand new. Should I try connecting it to a motherboard just in case? I’d need a SATA power cable for that. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t used, but who knows what could be inside. He told me to test it and report back—if it works, I should pay. I checked the PCB closely and the cables look brand new.

Are you sure the board you have is among the compatible options? It wouldn't serve its purpose otherwise.

I own Rampage V Extreme and Formula VIII, even though both require connectors. I'm unsure if they'll work together. I'm also worried because Windows 10 isn't supported, which is frustrating. Hopefully, the necessary drivers will function. It looks good overall... I'm eager to install it.

Nope nothing..just white backlight. But there is a broken notch on the sata power connector on the board. So some dumb a..s probably used brute force to connect sata cable to the sata connector in wrong way and broke the latch and ofc fried the either lcd screen or smth on board. I did not connect AAFP cable. I am sad..thought it will work. Looks broken to me...
