I think my system might not be performing well, since the AMD Adrenalin says I’m averaging around 132fps in Valorant at 1080p. With a 240hz monitor, this feels disappointing and I wanted to check if my setup is up to the task. I’ve removed some unnecessary programs and software, but it hasn’t improved things.

Welcome to the forums, new member!
RAM: 4x8GB 3200MHz DDR4
Do you have a link for this RAM kit?
MB: Gigabyte B550M DS3H
Which BIOS version is installed on your motherboard?
PSU: Corsair CX650
How long has the PSU been in use? Is it the green labeled one or the grey labeled one?
I've attempted to remove some bloatware and related software, but nothing seems effective.
Maybe try using DDU. Run DDU in Safe Mode to delete all GPU drivers (Intel, Nvidia, AMD) then manually install the newest GPU driver from AMD's support site via an elevated command—Right click installer > Run as Administrator (assuming Windows).
It would be helpful if you share your CPU and GPU usage details along with your temperatures.

Begin by checking the usage percentages of CPU, GPU, and memory along with their frequencies and temperatures during gameplay to identify any obvious bottlenecks. Additionally, perform some benchmarks to confirm the system is configured correctly and performs comparably to similar setups and components. The memory might be listed at 3200MHz, but is it actually operating at that speed? The Ryzen 5500G is a low-end model from AMD; it won’t reach its full performance unless properly configured or if overheating occurs. The GPU situation is also heavily influenced by driver settings. What you have is significantly higher than recommended specs, and improper setup could result in up to 50% or more loss in performance.
