Upgraded from a gtx 1650 to 6650XT recently, I experienced similar results on games like GTA, where many YouTube users achieve 120fps on ultra settings. On Sons of the Forest it’s around 50FPS and Control about 70FPS, while Fortnite drops to roughly 90FPS even at high settings. I’m questioning whether to return for a new unit or if help is available, possibly due to something missed. My steps included enabling XMP, uninstalling old drivers, installing fresh ones, benchmarking (GPU max 157W, temps stable), overclocking slightly, updating the BIOS, resetting drivers, and using TimeSpy for detailed stats. The system runs smoothly with a solid clock speed of 2950MHz, stable performance, and a GPU score of 10.637. It’s been running well under load.

Have you tried removing drivers or leftovers before?

AMD excels in benchmarks and online performance, while NV shines in real-world applications. Check market data to confirm these trends. For context, older drivers are often overlooked.

Sorry to let you down, the issue was my CPU limiting the GPU performance. It works fine now. Avoid asking on forums where people look for solutions—just sharing unnecessary details doesn’t assist anyone.
