I achieve 220-240 fps in Fortnite under light loads, 100-130 during skydiving, and 160fps in high-pressure moments. My system includes an i7-12700kf, 4070ti, and 32GB DDR4 at 3600MHz. I’ve reviewed many performance tests with comparable or lower specs and they consistently exceed 200 fps even in tough scenarios. Could there be a setting I’m overlooking, or is my RAM the limiting factor? The benchmark settings match mine exactly.

Are benchmarks referring to random YouTube clips with unpredictable modifications?

they’re mostly creators on YouTube, but not every single one has optimized their content. I’ve noticed a lot of videos, yet it’s unlikely all are well-produced. I also saw a Fortnite benchmark later in his video where he reaches over 300 fps in low situations—white is around 220-240 at that speed.

It's possible their quality is lower than yours.

The video is from a year ago; Fortnite updates often change, and the optimization might be less now. Check out the latest uploads released about 3 to 2 weeks back.

The video shown is from last year. We avoid using random clips for accuracy. To check performance issues, install 3dmark and perform a benchmark for a more reliable comparison.

This video makes it clear that evaluating performance against it is like comparing apples to kangaroos. The best way for you to assess yourself is through standard testing tools.
