Temperatures stayed high during testing (95°C), so I increased fan speed and added extra water cooling. Everything, including CPU paste, was checked. I tried underclocking Ryzen Master but found stability issues. Now I’m stress-testing at 2.4GHz with 0.85625V and a 2,400MHz clock. I ran it all day this weekend to catch any crashes. If you have experience, share your setup or tips—especially about fan coolers, case flow, or board choices like the GB 550 UD AC. Upgrading soon is on the way, so right now I’m pushing my 5600X to see how it holds up.

The stock cooler from AMD is sufficient for the 5600X. Check your room temperature. While you're waiting, consider adding an extra air cooler and running the PC without the side panel.

I'm not sure if I'd take that step, but the stock cooler from a 3600XT in a Meshify C barely managed it. At least if you're looking for good clocks, I didn't test the little hockey puck with 5600X. I just rolled my eyes and laughed.

I'm using a 5600X with a stock cooler and can keep it running at full speed in prime95 without any overheating issues. Looks fine!

I recently assembled a PC for a friend using a 5700X and added a 20€ air cooler. It never exceeded 60°C during a 30-minute loop on CB R20. Are you certain the AIO is functioning correctly or properly installed? Even a 120mm model should manage this CPU easily.

Checking the p95 performance... It seems you're not seeing anything close to 4600MHz. Your 5600X should handle 4600MHz with a 10GB Linpack under PBO, not just stock cooling. The 35 dollar cooler is a big difference.

I own a three-fan model and wish I had it sooner, though I’m glad I upgraded later.

Using PBO together with an average FCLK/MCLK results in around 140W power consumption, while a fixed clock shows about 150W.

Honestly, I never noticed the problem even with the base clock—it was always a steady thermal throttle. The weird part was that the water cooler helped cool my new 5950X right away when I needed it, and it didn’t get hot at all. I’m not sure what the real issue was. Now the PC is in storage.
