the specs indicate a compatible setup for your CPU and components. undervolting the core to 1.150 vcore and overclocking it to 4.2ghz may affect performance, potentially reducing lifespan. running at high temperatures for extended periods could also impact stability. your questions are well considered. thank you.

Undervolting shouldn't negatively affect the CPU. The most likely issue is encountering a blue screen or failure to boot due to insufficient voltage. Overclocking usually demands higher voltage, so it might not operate at that speed with the lower setting.

Mightyena should not worry about CPU damage from undervolting. The most likely issues are a blue screen or failure to boot if the voltage is too low. Overclocking usually needs higher voltage, so it might not even reach that speed at the lower setting. You mentioned you haven’t seen a blue screen and experienced stable performance for 30 minutes on AIDA64, followed by playing Starfield for three hours in GTA V. Please review the images at the bottom to confirm you’re doing it correctly. Thank you for your help and advice.
