Under heavy load, CPU produces noise.
Hello everyone, I understand many of you have a lot of experience fixing issues. (Your thoughts are really important to me.) Recently, after playing RDR2 for a few hours, I ran an Intel CPU test while checking my system. During the test, my CPU fan (Cooler Master AIO 360l RGB) started making noise. My PC began running slowly, but the test itself passed. Afterward, I looked at the CPU load—it was just 0 to 1%. Still, it sounded like my PC was having trouble. I’m concerned because I invested in a new motherboard and CPU cooler. Could you help me figure out what’s going on? Should I try reducing how long the CPU runs during games? Does that affect how long my PC lasts if I play for extended periods? Thanks, Ayush
It seems you're noticing the CPU fan spinning up. Have you also looked at the CPU temperature while hearing this noise?
It performs exceptionally well even under intense testing conditions, staying below 59.C.
The GPU is currently under heavy load with a temperature of 85°C. The fans are running at medium speed.
it’s gotten quite sluggish, so I think the CPU might be the issue. The GPU fan started spinning up quickly during pauses, and then later it slowed down again. I rechecked my CPU stress after waiting to cool it, and it was 42°C during load testing. I didn’t see any changes in the GPU fan speed even though I set it to maximum while playing RDR2.
Thanks Blatcher 2 for showing interest in my section. I manually adjust the settings to around 41 or 25, but I run it at full power during games for 4 to 5 hours.
