Unconnected storage devices are leading to issues.
I discovered the root of my Windows issues—it keeps looking for disconnected network drives. Removing mapped drives or turning on the devices eliminates the delays. It’s good to know I mainly use Linux, which isn’t hardware-related. Can I find a way to stop Windows from constantly searching for these drives? I’d like to keep them connected if possible. The problem usually shows up in File Explorer several seconds before it responds, since those machines aren’t found yet.
The drive doesn’t show any credentials linked to it. It’s configured for anonymous access on TrueNAS, displaying your Microsoft accounts and a collection of Xbox Live games.
