I’m just getting started with CPU overclocking and trying to understand all the technical terms. I’m using an ASUS Z690 hero motherboard with the latest BIOS and an Intel 12900K chipset. Switching SVID behavior from its default worst-case setting to a trained profile gave me a better voltage V/F curve that won’t crash my system and really helped lower my temperatures at my current 52x/40x clock speeds. Although I changed the SVID profile, the V/F offset menu still shows the same base voltages even though the settings affect how the system runs. Why don’t I see the actual V/F profile that these presets influence, and why are there multiple points for the same max frequency in the V/F curve table?
