You updated to Mac OS Big Sur and the warning appeared, but your site seems safe. It might be a misunderstanding or a test message. No need to worry unless you notice unusual behavior.

It's most likely just a stock warning for file types that COULD POTENTIALLY contain harmful stuff - but if you made it you have nothing to worry about.

Your site was built by you and appears safe. It uses basic HTML and JavaScript, not harmful code. The Mac might flag it as suspicious because of the `window.open` line, but none of the linked sites were malicious. They were privacy-focused projects like GNU and Tor.

It generally doesn't display the alert when opening an HTML file.

macOS cautions about anything that might run or hold executable code until you confirm. Big Sur makes this even more bothersome. You’re aware of it, so don’t stress.

It's frustrating, but Big Sur is really great overall.
