I had never encountered coil whine like this before. Initially I believed it was from my power supply unit, but after removing it and restarting the system, no sound was detected—only possibly very high-pitched noises that most people wouldn’t notice. This suggests the issue might be with my GPU or CPU AI-Optimized technology, which is likely why I’m replacing it. My system specs include a Ryzen 9 5900X, an X570 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz, an ASUS B550 motherboard, Corsair H100i 240mm AIO, and an ASUS Thor 850W 80+ Platinum with two M.2 slots.

It usually points to the GPU when you notice it only under heavy GPU usage. An AIO would make a bubbling noise from trapped air. Based on your description, the GPU is likely the issue.
Gaming usually depends heavily on the GPU and can lead to coil whine, especially under heavy loads (my 6700XT does the same). If the AIO is the problem, it suggests an issue with the air pump itself. Therefore, when the sound doesn’t play, it’s likely the GPU is responsible.
