Based on the age, it seems your PSU is likely no longer reliable. If you replace it, verify that all components remain compatible since faulty power supplies can harm your hardware.

yeah...... this is a c-tier psu. not good for this hardware. get a new one. wouldnt buy this one for this caliber of hardware even if it were the last one in the country

Yes, it's possible to run the components without powering the whole system. Your graphics card and motherboard might be getting power while the rest remains inactive. Just check if the CPU is dead.

RGB is usually the final factor to think about regarding PSU options. You’ll likely need a different PSU eventually...
