I own a solid machine but notice odd frame issues or drops in some games recently (last year). I typically play at 1080p 120fps with full settings, yet performance dips. Could it be an oversight or should I consider upgrading? Details: CPU i9-9900K @ 3.60GHz, GPU Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, 32GB RAM (2x16GB), DDR4 3600MHz, motherboard Asus PRIME Z390-P. Fortnite stutters at 120fps with medium settings. Just wondering if I'm overreacting or missing something.

It looks like your computer is behaving strangely, but that’s not your fault.

Recent bios updates? Chipset firmware? Latest drivers verified via iobit driver booster? Storage condition? SSD/HDD status confirmed with Hard Disk Sentry? System checks? Chkdsk and sfc executed? Temperatures recorded?

I'll do everything possible once I return from work today. Thanks! I'm still getting used to managing my own PC, so I often don't know which updates are needed.
