I attempted this and my PC still won't boot, the fans and RGB lights work but then nothing happens. I don't receive the POST sound or any error alerts. Even when trying to boot via USB, no signal appears.
Have you removed the CMOS battery? By connecting two pins together and then putting the battery back in, followed by a reboot, you can achieve this without needing to enter BIOS.
Clearly bent or missing cpu pins. They must be straightened (if not already removed). Also, you need to remove the black residue from the pins.
These are not bent or missing pins, the Ryzen 5 3500 already has these gaps in all CPUs. I've attempted to remove the black material, but some parts remain inaccessible.
