Hello everyone, I hope this message finds you well. I'm trying to decide what switch to install in my new apartment. I've attached a basic floor plan showing a gaming room with a smart TV and computer, plus a living room with a PS5, Steam Deck dock, and another TV. My internet speed is around 1200 Mbps download. I have a Gigabit connection from the UK, but US/CA sites won't work because of my location. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Are these units equipped with 2.5GbE connections? If not, consider a budget-friendly unmanaged switch. They're really affordable these days, and performance remains consistent.

I don’t have a specific suggestion, but I can help you find a good option. You might want to look into a few unmanaged devices that are easy to set up and could be a nice gift for your brother.
