I'm really frustrated with Nova 3 or 2. I jump from 2 to 3 and then back down to 2—can't climb up. It's not fun. But CSGO is the best game, so I only play that one, which makes it okay for me.

It's true you should aim to disarm or establish early to progress more quickly. Still, it can be tough when your teammates aren't performing well.
That's the core issue with Silver League... nobody keeps in touch, and I'm not alone in that mistake...
I'm DMG, my best performance was four rounds with a friend who's Silver Elite. It was great! I also started at Gold Nova 2 after ten placements, but progressed to DMG after about 150 hours of play. I watched YouTube tutorials, used offline mode with bots, and ran console commands like sv_cheats, sv_infiniteammo, sv_showimpacts, and weapon options such as AK47, M4A1 Silencer, or M4A1. They're great for practice. Many players at Nova/MG enjoy firing 2-3 shots from medium range, but you can also spray bursts of 5-7 with AK and M4A1 while staying accurate from spots like Dust II long corners to CT spawn ramps.
You're not missing much in DMG either, right? People say they don't want to do them. When you get tired and stop calling them, folks get upset that you're not really doing strats. Of course, if you call someone and they fail, you get angry at the end. Lol. Edit: Not sure how to delete posts, sorry for the double post.
