You might want to use VMware Player, which is free. I’m not sure if it’s still available, but you could simply transfer the disk to a different virtual machine. Edited February 6, 2019 by Guest

The standard disk format for VMware should work with VirtualBox, though it might not be the reverse. EDIT: unsure about the VM setup details, simpler to handle. Updated February 6, 2019 by Guest
