Everyone, the issue is I can start up in BIOS but not in Windows. It keeps showing that blinking underscore symbol (like in a photo). After waiting about half an hour, it still didn’t work. I tested it on another PC or laptop—even my MacBook—it worked fine. Could be the motherboard is faulty or there’s another problem? My specs are: PCIe 6, X570, 12GB DDR3, GTX 780 Ti.
What components are installed in your computer? Verify that your boot device appears first on the list. Is your storage drive an M.2 form factor or a standard 2.5-inch SSD? If it's M.2, consider swapping it out for another M.2 slot or the same one. For a 2.5-inch SSD, ensure the connections are secure at both ends—ideally just remove and reinsert it. When replacing, unplug it first to avoid damage. If issues persist, feel free to ask.
yeah ive done that and make sure that the cable is installed properly my ssd is sata btw since there's no m.2 slot. I also disabled every sata other than my ssd. It was working fine like 5 Months prior. Then suddenly my electric down unexpected and this happened. Is it possible that my motherboard broken bcs of that?
You're likely wondering if a sudden power outage affected your device's data or hardware. It might be helpful to research the effects of power loss on computers to understand what could have happened.
Eliminate any digital concerns first to avoid unnecessary expenses; the existing hardware might still function properly after some troubleshooting.
