F1 23 won't launch at all. Watch the video: it keeps attempting language packs, then the game freezes and restarts the play button. I’m currently in “contact” with EA but they only provide troubleshooting steps that don’t help. My PC is Windows 10 22H2, 10.22, running on a different SSD, multiple installs/restarts, Windows updated, NVIDIA updated, and DDU installed. I turned off all overclocks, stopped programs except the game, and cleared temp files. Steam was installed correctly on another drive. No anti-virus running, GSync enabled, files verified via Steam. I tried booting as admin, disabled cloud sync, and cleared VC++ runtime. It’s been six days trying to solve this, and I’m running out of ideas.

It gives off a smell similar to broken or outdated software. You might have obtained it from an older system. Consider using compatibility settings if needed.

The game featuring "this thing" is available on Steam. I've attempted compatibility settings, but they didn't resolve the issue.

The feature lets you confirm a game you've saved on Steam by clicking it and selecting the validation option from the menu. Steam is designed to scan for potential threats like Trojans. However, someone might have found a workaround. I'm not sure how it functions.

I attempted, but navigating the Steam support site only directs me to reach out to the publisher, Electronic Arts. They may not accept a standard support request for the game, so I’ll give it a shot.

Steam is well known for lacking personalized assistance. With numerous games and many users, it can feel overwhelming. Still, there are forums dedicated to each title, where you can seek help. A highlighted thread might already address your issue.

Avoid talking about it, keep sharing on all social channels. If it goes viral enough, people might take action. That’s a costly move. Got a chance to return the game?

I've already tried this and found nothing concrete on the Steam forum side. I've shared my problem on various platforms like Reddit and Steam, and it seems around 100-150 people are facing the same issue. I'm sending Steam a support ticket to explain the situation, but I'm worried they might not be able to help much since it's an EA game.
