When trying to start these games, the splash appears on the desktop without doing anything. Unity indicates activity in the task manager with increasing CPU and disk usage, then drops back to near zero. Origins remains idle in the task manager, showing only a steady 4% CPU and some RAM usage, while disk usage occasionally drops to 0.1%. In Event Viewer, Origins reports an application hang error about stopping interaction with Windows. I've tried several fixes—reinstalling Uplay, moving it to the correct drive, checking files, disabling processes, cleaning boot, updating drivers, and adjusting CPU settings—but nothing works. I have multiple Uplay games installed, and only these two are functional. I'm exhausted and need assistance.

I've seen similar signs pointing to an antivirus problem. Turn it off completely and attempt the task again.

I don't use any antivirus software on my machine. Excluding the built-in protection in Windows 10. Note: I'll test it now.

The burden of nighttime theme users. Press Ctrl+A to select everything, then you can read it. That’s not really important.

Windows Defender is disabled and the firewall is off. The problem persists even though it hasn’t happened before.

Yes, I've checked if running Uplay as administrator resolves any issues.
