Hi, I'm facing an issue with my M.2 Samsung 970 EVO SSD. I can't install Windows or run my operating system on it. After unplugging all other drives, I see the Samsung 970 EVO in the BIOS and everything appears normal. I boot from a USB running Windows 10 and try to install the M.2 drive, but after the process completes, I have to restart and repeat the steps. It seems the SSD won't boot with Windows installed. I've tried various solutions but still can't resolve the issue. I believe the problem might be that my motherboard isn't supporting M.2 NVMe, which would prevent me from using it as a regular hard drive even when Windows is installed on another SSD. I have the latest Windows version on a USB drive, and my PC details are as follows: Motherboard model Tuf-z370-plus, M.2 slot M2_1, Samsung 970 EVO installed.

Disconnect the USB drive or modify the boot order in the BIOS settings once the setup is finished.

The device remains powered off until it detects a valid USB connection, at which point it may attempt to boot or initialize.

This seems quite unusual... make sure CSM is turned on. Navigate to the Advanced Mode at the bottom, then select Boot, and you should see it listed there.

Chrizzo, if it's active now, I should view an image of the CSM menu.
