You're facing a common issue with the B650 Aorus Elite AX. The screws are indeed very small, and your Philips head 1 and 2 might not be sufficient. Consider using a longer Phillips head or a specialized screwdriver designed for these tight spaces. If you need further assistance, let me know!

PH1 works well. The screws remain inside the cover; just loosen them and lift the cover using them, possibly tightening a little more. This ensures they stay secure.

I understand, it seems like the PH1 bit isn't fitting properly into the screw head. The screw isn't turning and doesn't move, which is puzzling.

Did you know the dimensions match exactly what’s required for this board? You weren’t expecting any special tools to be needed, were you?

You only need a reduced driver, that's all. I don't remember using a smaller one than PH1 for my motherboard. But as mentioned before, you might just require a smaller connector. Do you have another option? It seems there could be another group for your build—appears to be a Kobalt configuration.

That black-tipped one seems a bit smaller than what you expect.
