Hi everyone,

I’m facing a rather unusual problem. A few weeks ago I downloaded a single-page PDF containing some diagrams for volleyball coaching. Since then, I’ve been unable to delete or change it in any way. I can still open the file, but every attempt to rename, copy, cut, paste, or otherwise modify it results in complete failure. It even appears as though I’m trying to cut it.

I’ve checked numerous online solutions and still haven’t resolved the issue. Here are some details:

- The file has an unusually long name (the original download name was: APznzabulqVdLrSMSxcUdjl8Wy2jqsLbd-P5L6kKbIBVy-se3PU4qelhL9HnkhB2AZRU3CWJwKdBGS-QPkd7dFywAUIpbsFa8OI0DmFyWoAxh6nQhjiujweSmCSPonYphqHEYgqBNfitt3SKTq-ZIXpkMsCV5h4llh0rTpX_EyyAqoHBGpML1ytWoGPwfUhif7IHYKb8OG9DPxCze8SkNiKFBViiWvmAPesSbmPkB98GDvgbFrob1MovFTb)
- It resides in my Downloads folder at the path: "C:\Users\Goliath\Downloads\APZNZA~1.PDF"
- File size is only 530 KB
- Virus scanning with Windows Defender came back clean
- I’ve examined it using Windows Process Explorer, but found nothing suspicious
- System specs: MSI B550 Mag Tomahawk w/ wifi, CPU 5800x3d, RAM Corsair 3600 CL18 2x16 GB, Storage 980 PRO PCIe ® 4.0 NVMe ® SSD 1TB (Samsung)

I’m really struggling to fix this and would appreciate any help. Thanks a lot!

Have you attempted FileAssassin or UNLOCKER to remove it?
