I’m confident I forwarded everything properly on my router and have the right WAN IP, but I can only connect via localhost. Here are some screenshots and logs from the server and client. I’m using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit on my main PC and Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit on the server. Please feel free to ignore the IP addresses. I’m also puzzled by the logs showing Windows 7 on the server and Windows 8 on the client. My router is a Linksys WRT120N.

Did you verify your Windows firewall settings? After setting up the TS3 server on my Windows 2012 R2 Server, I needed to create a rule in the Windows firewall to enable communication.

Based on past experience with TS3, it feels much simpler to purchase a budget server. Even as someone who likes technology, I prefer not to deal with TS3 servers. Ventrilo and Mumble have always been more straightforward.

Check if it's being tested online or locally on your network. Devices connected via LAN can't communicate with each other over WAN IP addresses.

It might be good to verify if 192.168.1.105 is your server's private IP address. Also, test the TS server on a different PC and adjust the ports as needed.

They both link to the identical network using Ethernet. I can connect with localhost, but not with the WAN IP, which means friends cannot join.

It's unusual, but you've accessed LAN systems using your public IP address multiple times without issues.

I successfully installed mumble setup, but teamspeak seems more polished, so I’d rather use that instead.
