Are all routers equipped with a web interface you can reach via a browser? If you type the IP address into a browser, it shouldn’t connect to the router. You need access to perform tasks like port forwarding and managing whitelists.

Launch the command prompt. Type "ipconfig /all". Review the list for your network interface. Locate the gateway address for your active connection. Input it into your browser. What occurs next?

I attempted this, but the gateway address is 192.168.0.1 and it isn't functioning.

Check the router and try restarting it. A few unstable gadgets can cause the web interface to freeze after some time. The issue seems similar across different models.

Not every router comes with a web interface. Enterprise models often provide only SSH and/or console access, while older units may support just SSH, console, or even telnet connections.

Gather a tool similar to Zenmap, run a port scan, check for alternative ports being used.

It might be faster to simply search for the brand and model.
