I attempted to use the instructions and set the "Safe" times, but I'm still at 2133.

It varies by chip and board. My 1600AE handled 3200 with two sets of 2x8 3200mhz cl16—one Samsung, one SK Hynix—on a Gigabyte B450 Aorus M. Even my older X370 struggled with these kits at 2666.

My previous machine ran a Ryzen 5 2600 with the same RAM and worked fine, but this one uses an ASRock board instead of a Gigabyte B450.

It's curious that the X370 struggled to run smoothly, and it seems like a Gigabyte as well. These boards and memory seem unpredictable. On the other hand, my Intel systems have always performed reliably with any memory I've used.

Additionally, you must turn off XMP. It may require several tries to start up correctly.

I checked the QVL for your motherboard and believe it doesn’t accommodate it. I’m using the F4-3200C16-8GTZR, though it isn’t explicitly listed there. Other G.SKILL 3200 series RAMs seem to have similar limitations.
