I've encountered an issue with my RAM not reaching its advertised speed. It consistently operates at 2133 MHz regardless of the settings I apply. I've checked different RAM slots and even used XMP mode, but nothing changes. The BIOS doesn't seem to recognize the sticks properly. I suspect there might be a labeling error or something I'm misunderstanding. I've updated the BIOS to the latest version and followed the manufacturer's instructions, yet the problem persists.

Some assume overclocking is possible without checking the manufacturer's QVL, but this isn't reliable, particularly for Zen and Zen+ chips. Use the Ryzen DRAM Calculator to input safe timings and review the full video before proceeding.

I just made the change to my post, I believe. The BIOS isn't very user-friendly.

Enable XMP, adjust frequency to 2933 manually, it should function. You won<|pad|>'s choice not support 3200 on an R5 1600.

I'm having trouble getting it to submit for those slots (A2, B2).

Its an AF version of the 1600 apparently, so really Zen+ so he might be able to. I have a 2700X that has my RAM running at XMP 3600 CL16 with no tweaking whatsoever.

You've successfully created a system using the identical BIOS. It's definitely feasible.

In the OCTweaker BIOS section, the XMP profile indicates the RAM voltage it expects to operate at. If it shows 1.35, test with 1.4 as suggested.
