When my devices attempt to join the 5 GHz network, they fail to connect, and the 2.4 GHz band remains very slow overall. I've reset both the modem and router multiple times, but the issue only lasts a short time. Please assist me, thank you.

Which router are you asking about? I encountered an issue with the WRT1200AC where certain devices would connect and cause the 5GHz network to crash until I rebooted. The problem only appeared with that specific device.

I'll share the connection I found: https://www.vodafone.co.nz/broadband/ultrahub-modem/. It's the Ultra Hub, second one down.

I've experienced some problems with 5GHz on Huawei equipment. My Skinny Huawei B315s-607 and Spark Huawei HG659b both faced issues with 5GHz, often requiring me to switch back to 2.4GHz on my mobile devices for a stable, albeit slower, connection. At times, I couldn't connect at all or the signal would drop completely, making it hard to see the SSID. Since switching to Ubiquiti, I haven't had any issues. You might consider reducing the frequency width—like from 40MHz to 20MHz—or try a different channel. Auto tuning can sometimes find a better one outside your range.
