Recorded in low light here, this was my first time playing SCUM online. Played for 20 minutes then received an EAC ban. Contacted the developers, but they couldn’t assist or give guidance. I’ve filed two support tickets and four ban appeal requests. Also reached out via Facebook and Twitter a few times, but got no reply. After speaking with the devs, it seems my ban might be due to custom DNS and router settings. I’ve been using the same Steam account for over 15 years, playing more than 180 games—this is my first ban. Anyone have any advice? It’s really a long shot.

The only method I've learned that helped was gaining online attention and then expressing my concerns casually on a news show you were part of. It wasn't a straightforward approach, but it seemed to have an unexpected effect.

This experience really shakes my confidence in Steam. I understand they made EAC available, but how can there be an anti-cheat system without oversight? It’s super annoying. I really fell in love with the game.
