I press the button to open the BIOS, but the laptop launches into Windows automatically and the BIOS settings don’t appear. I’m looking for a method to install Windows 7 without using the BIOS.

It doesn't say anything about what happens when you enter BIOS on a laptop. It just describes the scenario without explaining the outcome.

When you power on, there aren't any button prompts. Using the tab key is a typical method for accessing the BIOS.

I don’t have a physical model, but I can describe one in detail.

~30 seconds of searching should cover the basics. Perhaps give it a shot!

Are you certain your CPU isn't underperforming? A Pentium G620 typically runs at full capacity most of the time during video playback and similar tasks.
