I'm attempting to disable the touchpad for clicking on my laptop, but none of the usual options appear. I've checked Mouse Properties for a "Clickpad Settings" tab, but it's missing. I've tried removing the mouse from Device Manager, updating and rolling back drivers, installing a different MSI driver, and even running Synaptics Pointing Enhance manually. Still, nothing changes—no new tabs in Mouse Properties, no windows opening, and the issue persists even after reinstalling Windows. This is frustrating because the feature is essential and should be adjustable through standard settings.

Press F3 or Fn+F3? Tapping works too; no Synaptic installed? Verify MSI Dragon Center. Or get the Synaptic Control Panel from the Windows Store.

The software exists and is running, yet it fails to function properly. The Synaptic download page malfunctions, sending users to the wrong site for "DisplayLink." I've also tested MSI Dragon Center, but it doesn't provide any updates or improvements.

I was excited to discover a functional fix. I needed to install the "SynMsiDApp" from Synaptics Incorporated on the Windows Store, and it worked perfectly!
