Unable to reach a disk partition following Windows installation!
I experienced an issue where guest accounts couldn't reach the drive. I looked into this topic on a forum: https://forums. After cleaning my PC, Windows failed to start, so I reinstalled it. Now the drive isn't accessible. Can someone help me get back in? My files are crucial. Thanks!
I grasp your explanation accurately. You adjusted the partition settings to block guest accounts, reinstalled Windows, and now can’t access the drive even with your main account. The system displays an error message when you try to open it, and it doesn’t show up in Explorer. If it appears, right-click it in Explorer → Security tab → modify permissions, add yourself and administrators, then grant full access. If not visible, mount the partition via Windows Disk Management.
The directory E: isn't reachable. Denied access. Information about available space isn't displayed. Adding me triggers an error: "An error occurred while applying security information to E: [message]. Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied."
Note: In the security section it states you need read permissions to see object details.
On the webpage discussed, a problem occurred when trying to list items in a Windows 10 container. The error highlighted issues with enumeration functionality.
