Unable to reach a clock speed above 1600 MHz on this processor.
Hello everyone, I'm using a Ryzen 3800X with an ASUS Prime X570-P board (latest BIOS 2606). My setup includes two Crucial Ballistix 3600mhz CL16 sticks (E die). I'm having trouble letting the RAM run at its full speed and maintaining a perfect 1:1 clock ratio. The board won't boot when the FCLK exceeds 1600, but lowering it to get 3600 causes the clock ratio to disappear. I've adjusted voltage, timings, and even swapped the DIMMs, but nothing works. Have you tried any other solutions? Should I consider returning these sticks and going back to the older 3000mhz CL15 kit?
I sensed the issue clearly after focusing on the FCLK. Thanks for your assistance. Should I exchange the 3600 RAM or stick with the new one and lower its speed to 3200 with tighter timings? The old RAM link is here, and the new one’s details are available.
