Reviewing your past messages, it's clear we're not discussing all 5GHz bands. You lack the cooling for that—you need sub-ambient. As DARK HERO, you've disabled other ASUS features like Fmax Enhancer, AI tuner, dos, and similar options? You also checked the videos at https://youtu.be/dU5qLJqTSAc and https://youtu.be/1TOoYc8fJIo, along with part 4 and the AMD section on overclock.net.

We've covered the most concise options available. Please confirm what you've tried so we're aligned. You mentioned purchasing four units, and it seems each would have achieved the maximum rating boost of 5250. It appears a full 5GHz core isn't feasible for you.

I didn't request full core support. Just managed 4.9Ghz across all cores recently, though that was done manually. With PBO, I can't exceed 4998.1Mhz regardless of the settings.

These issues tend to intensify once you manage to dissipate the heat—consider exploring that angle.

Same here. PBO doesn't help push my 5950x beyond 4.8! I'm trying to optimize it for MAYA tasks (single core performance). With these settings: PBO manual, PPT TDS EDC at 280,235,240, overdrive at 50MHz, curve optimizer all cores -25, LLC level 1, CPU voltage offset +0.05V. I reach a max of 4.6 GHz and 75°C CPU temp (85 diode). If I switch everything to auto and curve optimizer to -30 as suggested by freeagent, the PC wouldn't even start.

Maximum percentage achieved by ppt, tdc and edv when using cb r23 or your current workload. The reason for switching llc and vcore offsets is unclear from the context.

It turns out I was being dishonest. All my adjustments were made in the AMD overclocking area at the back, except for one exception... The Asus performance boost was active. Turning it off drops a few MHz, though I might be able to recalibrate it slightly. For now, I keep it on.
