I'm using Crosshair VIII Dark Hero and consistently max out at 5.0Ghz in PBO. Others seem to push higher without problems, but I'm stuck. Fmax Enhancer might help. RAM is 3800Mhz with CL14. Optimus Foundation Block is active.

I received a score of 4. None of the results exceeded 5.0 on PBO. Reports indicate the poorest samples often surpass 5.0 using PBO.

Increasing the auto OC thresholds can push you past 5GHz on a single core, provided your temperatures stay within acceptable ranges and no other adjustments are made.

Keep auto limits at current levels, adjust the CPU boost clock override to +100 initially. Run HWinfo64 and perform basic tasks—games, CB, R15 single-core—to observe the maximum achievable boost.

Adjust any voltage or offset values back to their default unless they pertain to fclk/mclk. Navigate to PBO Advanced in the AMD overclocking area, not the Asus one at the start. Change PBO settings to Advanced mode. Ensure the curve optimizer is set to all core -30. Press escape to return to the PBO section. Choose Auto for PBO, which should eliminate options to modify ppt tdc edc scalars and similar features. Save and close. This should allow you to extend the full stock clock range. To surpass that, you’ll need to fine-tune your power configuration. Since you’re applying heavy restrictions, it’s understandable you’re not seeing results. This isn’t Zen2.
